Various differences here, but it's kind of an extension/more individual version of a broader off-point thing going around the current Oz team. As much as scrutiny and tough marking has generally been a strength of Oz cricket, this isn't really it.

Peter Bellam Joey Lynch ESPN Australia & NZ Men's journeymen can be signed. Just not paid stupid money like before. Why do people think professional football is an entitlement? If the league/clubs can't afford higher salaries, then they can't. Until revenues catch up. This isn't the public service.
