Sounds scapes connected to emotions. Students spent time in nature listening to the intersections of sounds all around us. These sounds + sense of place created emotions that we brought to life with contour lines. #getoutside #cbeliteracy

Making room for student voice. Each classroom will be leaving an artifact to showcase their Call to Action. How do we select artifacts that aren’t ending the conversation + learning, but rather a place to start the learning journey again? #cbeliteracy @Indigenous_cbe

What did you do in school today? Students have been making stuffies using naturally dyed fabrics with a purpose. The donut represents the circle + the sprinkles for diversity within the ⭕️ Others thoughts were for connections to nature, to bring more joy, emotional supports.

What I have come to realize is the importance of HEART in this work. Grateful for the past 16 years of little hearts that have added to my story. I will take all those into my next chapter. 🤍
