Follow in the Footsteps of Hillary and trek through the heart of the Everest region! We'll walk the same trails Sir Ed and Tenzing traveled, and see how the Himalayan Trust is continuing their legacy. See the route here in this map.

In the hills south of the Everest Basecamp trail lies a different world. Our trek - in the footsteps of Hillary - begins in Phaplu and explores the south, where we'll see communities farming rice and barley.

The peaceful valleys and trails of lower Solukhumbu are an amazing way to go off the beaten track and immerse yourself in local life and to meet and spend time with local communities. Join us for our trek in October/Nov 2025.
