PALS has objected to the proposed closure of the core path sth of Luncarty. PKC could build a bridge over the A9 instead of diverting people a km to cross that same road. Add your voice. People power is the best protection of public goods. See the website for a sample letter.

The George Street tearooms were looking so attractive yesterday. Biodiversity in the city is so restorative. Store staff in one venue said opposition to the new street look has died down. How long do we reckon before traffic & parking leaves this pretty street?

The Birnam Reader has made a tiny corner in Birnam a lovely space for people. What a difference a table, a bench and a tree makes. They are not doing them just now but in non-covid times this bookshop cafe does the best cakes for miles around.

This is the junction of Fairies Rd (ahead) with Oakbank Road, heavily used by pupils walking to Perth High School. Each driver in these 3 vehicles DROVE AT THE CHILDREN who were already standing on the road with priority when each vehicle turned into Fairies Road.

Trees, greenery & no traffic makes tables outdoors much more attractive.
