Another day of blue skies from dawn till dusk. Chilly right along the East coast again with a breeze off the North Sea. Warmest inland and towards the west with low 20s again in places. Frost again tonight for some inland spots, glens several degrees below freezing.

The fires continue to burn and now that strong south to SW wind has arrived. We are expecting some rain later in the day, but likely not enough as it's the peat burning under the surface that's the issue. Smoke can be smelt as far north as Orkney this morning.
