Action for Children have been awarded HTSI’s Partner of the Year! Their Family First Service has been working with our Café 1668 in Inverness to organise and run activities from the Café during school holidays and has been a great success! #HTSIAwards24

The award for Community Initiative goes to Golspie Youth Action Project! They have restarted the Golspie Youth Club with amazing success, with over 80 children attending regularly to a fun and safe environment. #HTSIAwards24

National Autistic Society & Thriving Families have been awarded the Highland Partnership Award! Working together for over 12 years they provide support, online events and guidance for families of neurodivergent children and young people in Highland. #HTSIAwards24

Social Enterprise of the Year is awarded to Wick Development Trust! Since 2022 they have been working at pace to upgrade Wick Campsite and run it as a Social Enterprise. This award has been sponsored by Morrison Construction. #HTSIAwards24

The Reducing Vulnerability Award goes to Caithness KLICS! They are dedicated to helping and supporting young carers in the area. They are a much loved group for those who use their services. #HTSIAwards24

Jason Findlay is our Youth Volunteer of the Year! He volunteers as a Youth Mentor for Highlife Highland and Monday Night Football in Fort William. He helps to mentor and nurture the younger players. This award is sponsored by Morrison Construction. #HTSIAwards24

The Volunteer of the Year Award goes to Darrel Paterson! He began volunteering for Mikeysline since 2021 and is incredibly passionate and enthusiastic about what he does, having played a part in developing and running ‘Miles for Mikeysline’. #HTSIAwards24

The Judges Recognition Award goes to Lochaber Phoenix Boxing Club! It has been running for 15 years and is entirely volunteer run. Young people attending build character, resilience and most importantly a sense of community. #HTSIAwards24

Reach4Reality have been awarded Third Sector Organisation of the Year! They provide young people aged 9 – 25, with social communication difficulties a chance experience fantastic outdoor activities and breaks. #HTSIAwards24

Our final award of the night is the Outstanding Achievement Award! This goes to Wendy Thain who established Caithness KLICS in 2013 and since then has worked tirelessly for young carers in Caithness. She puts her heart and soul into what she does. #HTSIAwards24
