The tree we want to save is subject to the same poisonous system of insurers blaming trees & councils/home owners giving in to threats. The law has to change to leave trees out of claims or all our mature trees will be gone. The ABI Insurance Times Insurance Journal @allianz

We're very concerned about the stress events put on our older trees in Finsbury park, already stressed after 3 droughts with no rain; branches are more likely to drop. This should worry krankbrother Haringey Council who hold their event under the park's historic planes. Move it!

Studies show: Trees are the true air conditioners. Under a tree, the temperature can be 15 C° cooler than measured in the ambient air. Shade and evaporation create the same effect as a conventional A/C, but without electricity. A tree produces about 20-30 KW/h, as much as ten A/C

It's World Snake Day - so here's why we should appreciate Snakes more: Snakes are very important to our ecosystem, helping to keep rodent populations down. The Heath is home to Grass Snakes, whose numbers are fast declining, so it's important we work hard to protect them! 🐍

🚫 Please don’t swim in the Heath’s non-swimming ponds. These areas aren’t monitored for safety or water quality and swimming here puts people and wildlife at risk. 🏊‍♂️ Stick to the designated swimming ponds and Lido– they're the only places where swimming is allowed and safe.
