TCD loses revenue to fund the university when protests block the Book of Kells.

It's happened five times this semester.

But they have powers to fine the Students Union, and now they've issued them one for €214,285.

I could say something against this chart, but I think it's already been said

I'll add that discounting the US voices doesn't reduce the Irish voices to zero

There's a significant number of real people within Ireland who believe that Ireland is full

That trend can't be ignored

Fascinating map.

The short-term effect of the UK's Rwanda bill is increased flows into Ireland.

The long-term effect could be lower flows, if channel crossings fall.

Dublin is sure angry at London right now, but maybe that changes in time.

Argentina's economic policy has been a dumpster fire of protectionism.

But there's so much potential now as they're moving in a new direction.

This got me thinking about the mix of jobs growth between citizens and non-citizens.

Brexit happened despite jobs growth, but because so many new jobs were being filled by non-citizens.

This might partly explain why the politics of 'our own' in Ireland isn't going away soon.

If one independent MEP is a fixed feature in Ireland's constituencies, the names could change.

Current:
🟢 Mick Wallace (South)
🟣 Clare Daly (Dublin)
🟡 Luke 'Ming' Flanagan (Midlands NW)

Possible:
🟢 Michael McNamara
🟣 Niall Boylan
🟡 Ciaran Mullooly

An improvement?
