Hannah had a great session on ITU today - taken a few days of practice but our patient used the alphabet chart/ blink to spell 'miss you' and Hannah was able to Skype the message to his wife. Whole team welling up so proud of the team Sharon Leigh Sarah Stangroom @hhornby91


Setting sail on a very exciting 12-month journey towards improving the outcomes and experiences for people with Parkinson's in our Emergency Department at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. Supported by Parkinson's UK Excellence Network, I will be working hard to develop and pilot a brand new swallow screening tool.


Since being on placement with my PE Sharon Leigh Buckinghamshire Healthcare SLTs at Stoke Mandeville Hospital I’ve been introduced to loads of amazing new gadgets used by SLTs (and beyond!).
