Why are so many people in this country depressed to the point that they can't work, Rishi?

The World Health Organisation says that depression is the leading cause of disability and the second biggest killer in the world, but this guy wants to make it seem like people who are experiencing depression just want some days off work. Terrible.

Sunak and his ilk can pay privately to get treatment overnight for mental health issues. Everyone else has to wait months for CBT or consultant referrals. Some don’t make it.

I’m now in my 4th month of #LongCOVID . I’m reassured by the competence and confidence of Office of the Chief Executive NHSScotland Gaps who advocated for my need for me to rest as recovery. Several times I’ve tried to emerge from rest and the relapses are swift & severe. Pushing a body out of LC damages it.
