Boingo dropped Passpoint roaming service in the Unlimited plan more than a year ago. I used to enjoy roaming using my Boingo account before. I cannot understand why they stopped providing such a nice service for customers who are paying some money monthly.

If you find an off-campus eduroam in Japan, please try finding SSID "cityroam". If it exists, the access point is operated by Cityroam's member operator. OpenRoaming should also be available at the same place.

Never try configuring eduroam manually in this Wi-Fi setting menu! If you did that, your laptop may not be able to join eduroam network at different locations. Windows 11 with 6GHz-capable adapter may set WPA3ENT mode even at 2.4/5GHz. Use of geteduroam is recommended.
