Tiktok is so unfiltered and sadly allows the promotion of these grooming sites. A year of lockdown and way too much time online has left our children vulnerable I feel. It’s just so hard to protect them with phones, iPads, laptops and internet access! 😩😩😩

When your son changes his phone passcode so it’s private. 😩 when your son starts wanting his bedroom door shut. 😩 when your son who has been online more than any child his age should due to covid lockdown has searched #omegle thanks to #TikTok

So #omegle is a site where you can video chat to strangers, WTAF!!!!!!!! Every sexual child predators dream site!!!!!!! What are we doing to keep our children safer online? Lockdown has left our young people so over exposed to all the dangers of the internet!

The loneliness and isolation of #lockdown will have an effect on so many #kids. Keep talking, communication open and watch for changed behaviour around mobile phones. Looking for someone to listen to you and ‘care’ about you online is something they are so vulnerable to right now
