As part of TK lessons about Purim, students learned that King Achashverosh drank a lot of grape juice so students learned how to make their own!

As part of the sixth grade Holocaust curriculum, students are reading a non-fiction book about a young woman's journey on the Kindertransport. The themes of music, survival, and hope are inspirational.

This weekend the Heschel RoboHawks competed in the 2020 California Vex IQ Elementary State Championships! Competition challenges focused on fostering teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and project management.

Third graders took a virtual reality field trip of the Downtown LA Walking Tour, visiting landmarks such as the Hollywood Sign, The Los Angeles Zoo, Griffith Observatory, Santa Monica Pier, LACMA, La Brea Tar Pits, and more!
