Luchador masks were inspired by the Aztec culture to evoke the images of animals, gods, and ancient heroes.

Did you know? Lucha Libre can consist of two-man tag matches (parejas) as well as "four on four" matches (atómicos).

El Santo's biggest rival was possibly the legendary Blue Demon, who also helped popularize the sport.
