Penally Cross at St Nicholas and St Teilo Church Dated to the C9th or early C10th this cross was once situated outside near the west entrance to the church but was brought in to prevent erosion of the beautiful ornate carving. #StandingStoneSunday #medieval

St Mary the Virgin, Dilwyn This plain #fontsonfriday was from the earlier #medieval church and is now surrounded by cross slab tomb stones that would have once laid flat. These items were removed during the 1867 restoration and placed there.

St George’s #Church Woolhope An earlier Saxon church on the site was destroyed by fire. Construction of the present church began in 1157. Firstly built as a more simple structure the church was extended in the 14th century. #steeplesaturday #medieval
