TESDA welcomed the first work day of February by signing a Memorandum of Agreement formalizing its partnership with the Philippine Cancer Society.

This collaboration centers on equipping healthcare workers with the skills to guide cancer patients through their treatment journey while providing compassionate, basic palliative care.

Through this effort, both organizations aim to strengthen the healthcare system’s capacity to meet the diverse and complex needs of those battling cancer.

Phil Cancer Society was top 10 finalists receiving 2024 Gelia Castillo Awards for Research on Social Innovations in Health (GCARISH). ACT NOW mobile bus clinics, as published in BMJ, was able to reduce incidence of death by 29% thru early breast cancer screening in underserved.
