Today I got to showcase the journey my department has been on for the past 4 years. 4 years work has resulted in a unified T&L strategy underpinned by teachers making sound pedagogical choices. I had such pride walking the shop floor to see last nights CPD embedded.

What a thoughtful gesture

This week I launched a year group wide student voice. I wanted to get a feel for how our Y11s feel at the moment. So far two words have appeared a lot, challenged and supported. These are the two words I wanted to see.

Thankfully the weekend, it has felt like a tough week. My head is whirring and i'm in a head space of I just don't know what to do. I sense it is time for a run tomorrow.

Week 8 of half term 1, and i'm proud to say i've visited 70 ish lessons in the department. I challenged myself to be more visible and I have been.
