missing my old writing voice something fierce lately. I know it takes some time to "unplug" the "gunk" after a significant writer's block, but I'm finding it increasingly hard. so, an #amwriting or rather #waswriting snippet for the TL tonight.

I missed posting something for the relevant benchmark, so we're calling 27k the new 25k! At least for today. We're really in the sauce with this shiny new thing, folks. Just wrote some of the most insane body horror I've ever cranked out so BRAMBLE is a success so far, imo! 🍂🌾

ok I am very genuinely at the edge of a nervous breakdown re: my prose and voice, feeling like I've lost what makes my writing sing, and every time for the past 3 weeks I've tried to write it's felt rough and muddy and inelegant 😭 if there are tips to get it back, I'm all ears

as a big fuck-you to N*NoWr*Mo I will be doing my own version of the event, which will include writing words 100% from my own brain and no one else's. thinking of calling it NovNov or NovSquared: a Novel in November.
