"Rule of Thumb" in Thyroid Cytopathology. A thyroid nodule with epithelial cells but zero colloid, always exclude Parathyroid lesion (or Medullary CA or a Met). This Parathyroid Neoplasm also displays naked nuclei with a vague "Tigroid" background (I see both quite often).

Pathologists! Check out this fibrin associated large B cell lymphoma in an atrial myxoma. Typical features: incidental finding, large pleomorphic EBV+ B cells with non-GCB phenotype, often CD30+, in a background of debris, typically cured by excision. #lymphoma #hemepath

Pathologists! Here’s a classic breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BI-ALCL). Tumor cells are confined within implant capsule so prognosis is excellent. Loss of pan-T antigens is common. Always CD30+, ALK-neg. #lymphoma #breastlymphoma #breastimplant
