Great to join Powys Open Access Youth Workers team last night as part of the #bwesg initiative helping to keep visitors to the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society safe as they support the nighttime economy. If you are out this week come to visit the team at the entrance to the Gro car park and pick up some free water.
Night 1 of the Royal Welsh Show saw 16 patients be treated by St John Ambulance Cymru at the Help Point, Powys Open Access Youth Workers support 285 people, and Street Pastors support 21 individuals! #BWESG
Possible spiking, cold and wet, relationship break up, foot injuries, "tired and emotional" just a sample of the nights work for the Powys Open Access Youth Workers and the wider Builth Wells Event Safety Group. 3rd night down and about 1000 Bottles/cans of Radnor Hills Spring Water & Soft Drinks water supplied to the public.
💫 "Youth Work works, thanks to the dedicated and passionate people at the heart of it. There are many volunteers and professional workers who educate, enable, and empower young people", Sharon Lovell Sharon Lovell. The latest #YouthWorkWales Bulletin: i.mtr.cool/udxocrpgye
