With European Parliament, we discussed how criminal gangs exploit children by recruiting them for violent crimes or drug trafficking. Children end up being both victims & perpetrators. Prevention, protection, and collaboration between key entities are key for children’s safety.

At @Europarl, I stressed the need for stronger action to protect Europe’s critical infrastructure. Submarine cable disruptions and hybrid threats show us the risks affecting all of us. We must stay vigilant, resilient, and united. Security is non-negotiable.

The EU stands firm on the rule of law and human rights. Boualem Sansal’s unclear arrest raises serious concerns about freedom of expression in Algeria. We urge transparency, justice, and respect for shared values in our partnership.
