Hedges are essential for wildlife and when they're connected they act as corridors for animals to move across the landscape. Many animals like dormice, bats and hedgehogs all depend on hedgerows.
Did you know that from 5 - 11 May is #HedgehogAwarenessWeek ! With National Hedgerow Week also starting tomorrow, we wanted to share just how important hedgerows are for hedgehogs. Hedgerows allow hedgehogs to move freely between habitats, provide shelter, food and much more! 🦔
We’re celebrating #NationalHedgerowWeek with The Tree Council
Hedgerows are the UK’s most widespread semi-natural landscape, providing a home for more than 2,000 species! 🦇

Billowing white clouds of Cow Parsley or Queen Anne's Lace (Anthriscus sylvestris) lining the hedgerows yesterday evening at sunset. May is definitely my favourite month!
