Marking year 12 trig questions and totally reminded me I planned to organise getting some "I didn't divide by 0" stickers for those who got it right 😆

Helping a pupil with maths, noticing their guitar rock exam book, flicking through, correcting the tabs for smells like teen spirit....just one of the extra benefits of having me as your maths teacher 😆🤘

Found this image quite amusing with the looks on their faces! It is easy to forget how long it took to devise the number system we have now, and how abstract and groundbreaking it must have seen at the time.

A farmer has a field in the shape of a regular hexagon, with a side length of 40m. A horse is tied to a rope at one corner of the field. The rope is 50m long. What percentage of the field can the horse roam in? A silly story, but I like the mathematical problem solving required!

Love old maths/puzzle books so cool to find out about Jo Morgan using mathpix! I'd never heard of it, and the main reason I underuse these older resources is the lack of digitalisation, game changer :)

Interesting to read about Craig Barton using AI to generate multiple choice maths questions. Our school did a little on this at inset and I was quite frustrated with a lot of the results, so glad to see it's not just me!
