Rep. Jim Jordan says he is opposed to tying foreign aid together in one package.

Jordan said he asked Johnson about his plans during conference, but did not get clarity on the speaker’s intention.

He wouldn’t commit to supporting a rule if it’s all tied together.

I asked Senate Commerce Chair CANTWELL about Johnson’s plan to include the House-passed TikTok bill in his foreign aid plan. (Cantwell doesn’t like that bill.)

“I think he should count votes,” Cantwell told me. “We need the supplemental, so I would definitely count votes.”

🚨 Tax Fact 🚨 - Revenue in 2023 closely matched post-TCJA projections, once you adjust for inflation. Corporate revenue matched it EXACTLY.

Suggestive that CBO’s score was pretty damn good and tax cuts didn’t pay for themselves. crfb.org/blogs/2017-tax…
