What a sunrise this morning!

I know, I know...... nowhere to go in them but still, just couldn’t resist them, and they’re the absolute perfect fit. Think I might be getting dressed up for dinner!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that the model and colour is Impulsive Tortoise!!😂😂😂

I don’t normally do this.....it’s been 20 years since I last jumped....But was persuaded to have a bit of fun in the sun by Laurence Hunt. Spring madness 😂😂!!

The Himalayan rose in the apple tree….. absolutely spectacular this year…..

So I managed to get a pic of this little chap just now…… well camouflaged up there on his perch!

Found this gorgeous fabric in my stash…… now seeing and there’s a lot of seam binding going on, handmade with silk taffeta…

So this is going to be the cuff of the sleeve of the jacket I’m making…… really fun if you like a bit of topstitching!

Couldn’t resist this fabric. A quick to make Christmas cover up in satin jacquard

I’ve had the fabric for years….and I think it makes a great waistcoat. Only the buttons left to do. And no, I didn’t forget the pockets….. he didn’t want any!

Only the sleeves to go, (and the buttonholes, which I hate doing!) but I can’t decide what style….. this might take some time😂😂

Just playing with this fabric…. Unfortunately it has a printing mistake that runs through it but hopefully isn’t too noticeable. I kept the design simple and it has a great retro feel …. I added an inverted pleat in the back for a sculptural feel, and it works well, I think!
