Next weekend our Instructor Phil Musgrove and his wife Paula will be traveling to Essex to attend the World Record Attempt of the most Cardiac Arrest Survivors in one Place. Paula had a Cardiac Arrest back in May 2011 and has an ICD fitted. Will keep you posted.

Our Instructors completed an defibrillator course for 13 local people of Sampford Arundel near Wellington today, some good quality CPR and defibrillation achieved.

The average heart is the size of a fist in an adult. Your heart will beat about 115,000 times each day. Your heart pumps about 2,000 Gallons (9000 litres) of blood every day. Now these must be good reasons to take care of your heart that gives you life!!

HeartStart Instructors Phil and Lawrence did a defibrillator course for 13 local people of Creech St Michael today. The community have three defibrillators in cabinets located around that area in the old phone boxes.

With an increase to our external bookings, we have recently installed a public access defibrillator. With King’s staff, pupils and visitors regularly using the school’s facilities, this new device will benefit the whole school community. Read more here: bit.ly/2BjcOvr
