We have had a great time at our Newburgh Beacons after school tonight. We made rainbows of hope and ate biscuits together too. We will be meeting again before Easter so please join us. 🌈

We made flower bombs too. We are each going to put them in a special place outside so that in March the seeds will bring a sign of hope and joy to us all.

Debrief on yesterday's activities to reflect on the challenge, team work and new skills learned.

It was lovely to receive a certificate from the Douglas Valley Lions in recognition of our support with their local community initiatives.

A wonderful display has been created from all the entries from one of World Book Day competitions last week. A fantastic effort Team Newburgh!

Our key stage 2 dancers performed with other schools from our TARDIS cluster last week and their evaluation of the event is in our school entrance area.

We are delighted to receive the PLATINUM Green Tree School award.Every child has participated in helping us achieve this accreditation.Well done Team Newburgh!

We now have a large collection of magazines for our reading for pleasure loan system. This week our KS2 librarians will give all children in Team Venables the opportunity to loan a magazine for the week.
