Thank you to everyone who came out to our awesome PTA End of the Year Picnic! What a wonderful celebration of another great school year! We thank our 5th grade students for making bracelets during recess and selling them to raise funds for the Head Start of Ellicott City!

Last week Tech4Learning awarded their Innovative Educator (TIE) award to Waverly's Technology teacher, Christina Hataway! The TIE is awarded to recognize educators who work passionately to utilize technology as a way for students to creatively demonstrate their content knowledge!

Just before the school year ended, the State Board & Dr. Wright visited Waverly ES in HCPSS, where Dr. Wright once served as principal. The school has aligned reading initiatives with the science of reading & enhanced its Pre-K programs, through the Pre-K Expansion Grant,
