CS50x week 6 complete! Onto SQL

finished the fiftyville problem! Onto the Web development weeks. There's so much to learn in computer science. It's never ending

Excited to get to CS50 AI... but my coding still sucks, so I'm watching the lectures for fun. anyone else?

CS50x and the first step into html/css/javascript complete!

Got the arm moving, but still have lots of problems to solve. Moves too fast, limitations with the servo power, and the gripper doesn't work (maybe it's binding?) Progress is still progress!

Got multiple motors working simultaneously! Now onto the nerd math to get it to go where I want.

Got 2D inverse kinematics partially working. The arm goes to the right point as long as it's in the negative X axis space. However...

My program calculates negative angles for points farther into the positive X axis space. In other words, the arm tries to move past it's range of motion, rather than bending the opposite way.

Finally, 12+ years later... I regret sleeping through those algebra and trigonometry classes 🤦

First CS50x flask pset complete! One more left to go, then its onto the final project!

Solved the X axis problem, 2D inverse kinematics works!! The elbow now bends appropriately based on the position it needs to reach!

Also added a function to reject un-reachable positions... Because I'm stupid. 🤦😂

Its Sunday, do something fun... Like install arch linux on a VM anyone know how to install the "social life" pkg?

My old ssd is bootlooped... Guess it's a troubleshooting day today.

No luck with the bootloop. Easier copy files and start fresh, since I was planning to wipe this drive anyway
