Talk about a way to start the morning. California prevails on state net neutrality law.

When the last Administration rolled back #NetNeutrality rules, states stepped into the void and put in place their own policies. Today the 9th Circuit upholds California’s effort. It’s good news. I support Net Neutrality and we need once again to make it the law of the land.

BIG NEWS: I authored California’s net neutrality law, #SB822. The telecom & cable industries (plus Trump) fought us hard & immediately sued. Today the federal court of appeals upheld the entire law! This is a huge win for California consumers & businesses.

The 9th Circuit has upheld California’s #NetNeutrality law, affirming the states’ authority to protect their citizens’ Internet access. That’s the right result, and I trust a solid step on the path to returning us to a free and open Internet everywhere. Let’s go!
