Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon with locally heavy rain, frequent lightning, and gusty winds. A few storms may be strong enough to produce damaging winds, and localized flooding will be possible as well.

HAMILTON COUNTY: Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm local time, TDOT maintenance crews will close the right lane and shoulder of the I-75 North bridge over the Hiwassee River (mile marker 34) for its regularly scheduled biennial inspection. Plan accordingly.
