This week has undoubtedly been one of the most challenging of the vaccination programme so far. I am amazed and privileged to work alongside some of the most dedicated teams determined to do the best we possibly can. One Care UWE Bristol Annie Powell💙 Healthier Together Jo Howarth
I love this publication. Think it captures the story of the vaccination centre at Ashton Gate Stadium perfectly. Thank you @WEAHSN
I see CQUIN guidance has been published for 22/23 NHS England. Really? We still think financial incentives are the way to improve quality? Seems to run counter to our learning from the last 2 years. How does this square with the establishment of ICS's? england.nhs.uk/wp-content/upl…
Couldn’t agree more. Learning from local vaccination programmes that will support ICS development in many ways including system collaboration and innovate ways of addressing health inequalities. We can’t just revert back to old ways of working @BNSSG_CCG Healthier Together Annie Powell💙

Emma Adams That is a really nice short piece. This is so true... ".. to deliver improvement it is not enough to have a good grasp of how to apply quality improvement approaches and tools. Good relational skills matter just as much, if not more..."

It’s over. Any control over Covid we had is over. Duty doctor today. I’ve lost count of the number of patients I’ve seen with classic Covid symptoms NOT A SINGLE PERSON has isolated or done a PCR test. Everyone’s mixing & infecting each other. There is no control. It’s over.
Today, BBC Breakfast reported on UK Health Security Agency data showing low uptake of the flu vaccine among 2 & 3 year olds and high rates of under 5s being hospitalised with flu. Bristol parents Anjali and Ben's 2-year-old was hospitalised with the virus. Watch now here: bit.ly/3OPtYVl
