I have some understanding of the sentiment for teachers to work absent culture and identity; HOWEVER, teaching (of any kind) requires relationships which requires sharing and respect of culture and identity.

According to Attorney General Ken Paxton, I don’t have to wear a mask to teach math but I should wear body armor and a semi-automatic weapon. Thank God I am free to not wear a piece of cloth on my face. Sarcasm hides the tears.

Step 1: Other competitive schools need to join Harvard Step 2: Information needs to pass down to students, families, and counselors Step 3: Data may change This is going to be a long process but hats off to Harvard for taking the first step

We expect more from the College Board. The proposed AP Precalculus is a misguided money grab with harmful impact on school mathematics. See our case in this open letter and, if so inclined, retweet and/or add your name as a math teacher for change: drive.google.com/file/d/1wAbdZp…

Great discussion with powerful voices; one missing point in favor of the course: it gives stakeholders a common set of standards when determining the rigor of the course as Common Core and many states do not offer standards

? for HS Math in traditional AGA: has anyone considered starting Alg 2 with Trig? Connect with Geo and use as on-level context to refresh Alg 1 as needed; I am done with spending a semester teaching Alg 1 again. #mathchat
