Morbid Knowledge This is Kevin Hines now. In 2000, 19-year-old Kevin Hines attempted suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. He survived the 220-foot fall, though he was severely injured. After hitting the water, he was kept afloat by a sea lion until being rescued by the Coast Guard.
