The energy was electrifying joining 1,000 men in support of Angela Alsobrooks as our next U.S. Senator. As a fellow County Executive, I have seen her lead firsthand. I admire her determination, resilience, and drive to ensure all are and feel safe, heard, valued and respected.

On Tuesday, I presented a proclamation recognizing the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Prince George’s County and a resolution passed that establishes the first whole week of Hispanic Heritage Month as Hispanic Restaurant Week. Our diversity is our superpower!

I’m the proudest grandfather in the world. Tuesday, my grandson was a part of the McNamara HS cohort that was recognized with a proclamation for receiving the Natl Blue-Ribbon Award for High Academic Achievement. The only high school in Maryland to receive such an honor!
