Really great to hear @danlyndon talking about an exciting new dawn in history teaching and how SHP will fit into this and move it forwards in the coming years - especially in bringing history to life and helping pupils enjoy it! Exciting times! #historyteacher #vSHP23

Thanks, Debbie! We’re loving getting to know our first Experienced Teacher Programme cohort and getting stuck into challenging professional questions and discussion.

Another excellent session from HA South West Network Experienced Teachers Programme on Changing Language in the History Classroom. Really made me reflect on areas of strength & weakness in both my own oracy and that of my students. Inspired me to think about how to develop these skills.

Tonight's Experienced Teacher CPD session from HA South West Network was a real eye opener to the vast opportunities there are for using technology in the history classroom, both with students and behind the scenes! Food for thought indeed 🤔

A proud feeling knowing that some students out there will be busy revising using the #OxfordRevise for Elizabethan England that I authored. Great to help students nationally. Oxford Secondary The whole series is fantastic! #knowledge #retrieval #practice

Seeing all the tweets about Helen this afternoon has been really moving. As I said when we had leaving speeches at the HA in June Helen Snelson is the glue that holds the history community together. So lovely to see so many who recognise that.
