Very pleased to have participated in the most recent session of the HA South West Network course for experienced history teachers with Andrew Sweet and Rachel Lewin on decolonising and diversifying the curriculum Very thought provoking! Bring on the next session on scholarship!

Another excellent session from HA South West Network Experienced Teachers Programme on Changing Language in the History Classroom. Really made me reflect on areas of strength & weakness in both my own oracy and that of my students. Inspired me to think about how to develop these skills.

Tonight's Experienced Teacher CPD session from HA South West Network was a real eye opener to the vast opportunities there are for using technology in the history classroom, both with students and behind the scenes! Food for thought indeed 🤔

History teachers of Migrants to Britain or Black British history: Angeline Morrison’s album is incredible classroom listening to bring important historical characters’ stories to life. Read the song notes here to inspire you: angelinemorrisonmusic.com/the-sorrow-son….

Still love this amazing book - just reading the section on migration. So many great ideas to take away 🤯 Rachel Ball LambHeartTea (she/her) Rachel Lewin

A proud feeling knowing that some students out there will be busy revising using the #OxfordRevise for Elizabethan England that I authored. Great to help students nationally. Oxford Secondary The whole series is fantastic! #knowledge #retrieval #practice
