This is a clown-show of a segment. As Roo acknowledges, the ump does not know the nature of the injury. He could have punctured lung, internal bleeding etc. Player welfare is rightly the priority here. Imagine they play on and then a player collides with him? #AFL

Clearly a terrible mistake, was obviously too long even without the Lab An old-fashioned view of mine but they have got to stop this passing on the 50m to the next umpire. It's ripe for mistakes like that. Have the ump manually run out the 50m. If player plays on then so be it.

This was umpired correctly He is tackled immediately (no prior opportunity or time and space) And then handballs it through the goals as he is entitled to do (within the 9m, was under pressure) No FK to be found here. All clear, behind Well umpired #AFLHawksCats #AFL

Laughable examples here for Cornes. Wines and JHF both duck/lower to try draw a high tackle. These were correct non-calls. Simpkim doesn't run over the mark at all - Rozees momentum had taken him metres forward of where the mark was taken. Allir's 50 was bread and butter

Seeing a lot of commentary on this Nothing to suggest it came from off-field, was probably just another ump who said "it was North who kicked it". Mistakes happen, good they caught it. Probably should have been a Bombers FK though once corrected - was well after the whistle.

This is a textbook lowering of height into an otherwise legal tackle. This should not have been a FK to Ginnivan. They are tough to judge live, but you expect an AFL level umpire to be better than paying that. Disappointing. #AFL #AFLSunsHawks

The interpretation for a while now has been to only pay 50m penalties against players who knock it away after the second whistle (this way a player knows the FK hasn't gone their way). Ginnivan's contact was clearly before that second whistle. 100% not A 50M penalty here.

This should have been HTB. Clear prior, legally tackled, lost the ball while still in the field of play. Poor piece of umpiring #AFLNorthFreo
