Attention travel ball umpires: the clock doesn’t start at the plate meeting, while both teams are still in the field getting loose for the game that’s supposed to start in 15 min.

Does anyone know the context here? The announcer leaves us hanging at the start and end. What’s up with the way the coach and players are reacting? Clearly they’re mad about something.

Working on a new youth program to help kids move better on all levels… not just the body! There’s mobility drills, but also EFT (Tapping), myofunctional drills, eventually vision training, too!

Announcer said his swing didn’t have an uppercut, it was down and through. But his barrel is literally below the baseball working back up. 🤔

Wait- the Pitch Smart rules that let ANY 11 year old throw 85 pitches in a game…even if they haven’t touched a baseball in 3 months…those are the rules we should follow?!? What a JOKE! Stay in your lane!

It’s officially 7:29am and a coach is yelling at his player for having “zero self accountability” because he hit some consecutive ground balls off the tee in BP 🤣

Our 11U umpire today apparently does MLB spring training games. Field ump is a college student. Best crew I’ve had in youth baseball. Still had moms and dads heckling 🤣

Why do grown adults get a kick out of heckling kids? lol

One of my 11U kids during BP this morning:

“Coach Joel can me and Noah get mic’d up?”

Me: “how?”

“We got mics”

Me: “ok cool but who is gonna video if y’all are both playing?”

“We don’t need video”

The game of youth baseball is lacking baseball IQ. Decisions are made based on lack of skill of opponent, and desire to go 5-0. Stop playing to “win at all costs” and start playing the game.
