We published a nice little study in Inorganic Chemistry on how structural constraints change excited state properties of bimetallic systems. Stay tuned for some exciting stuff on charge transfer in bimetallic systems from me and Zach.
Guess who knows all about preparing a compelling job talk now thanks to the International Institute for Nanotechnology Future Faculty Program
When I said me fist-bumping Victor at commencement will be one of the highlights of this decade, you didn’t believe me, did you?! Thanks Yale Chemistry 😛 sclcelebration.yale.edu/alumni-notes
The new International Institute for Nanotechnology banger just dropped! Excited to be part of the crew.
Drop by Ryan 4003 tomorrow at 4 PM for an exciting Northwestern Theoretical Chemistry Seminar Series talk by Jonah Greenberg from the Gingrich Group at Northwestern Chemistry
Is your department looking for a theory/computational tenure-track assistant professor? Come find me at the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) annual meeting tomorrow at the faculty candidate poster session (poster # 149).
Erik Luijten from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering is our next Northwestern Theoretical Chemistry Seminar Series speaker. Drop by Ryan 4003 at 4 PM on Nov 5 (tomorrow) for an exciting talk.
Recruiting a postdoc in my group. Consider applying if you are interested in multiscale modeling and a combo of QM+MM+ML in biosystems. sujobopps.com/postings/107364 Here is what we are up to acharyalab.com/publications RT appreciated. #chempostdoc #compchem Syracuse University Department of Chemistry BioInspired Syracuse
My mentee (Nikhil) is giving a talk in the Northwestern Chemical & Biological Engineering student seminar. If you are on campus tomorrow, do swing by!
Out now in The Journal of Chemical Physics - hydrogen bonding to protic solvents can change ultrafast charge transfer dynamics in your molecule. Team effort by Argonne National Lab and Northwestern Chemistry pubs.aip.org/aip/jcp/articl…
Check out our latest article from Northwestern Chemistry and International Institute for Nanotechnology in The Journal of Physical Chemistry where we discuss how real time density functional tight-binding models can be used to study plasmonics from a more quantum perspective. pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…
Check out my artwork on the front cover of ACS Publications The Journal of Physical Chemistry! In this Feature Article our Northwestern Chemistry and International Institute for Nanotechnology team talks about density functional tight binding models as a tractable approach to study quantum plasmonics.
