Year 1 also had a visit from Police Officer Sarah Manser who came to talk about her job. She handcuffed Mrs Swales and showed them all of the equipment she has to carry. They can't wait to find out which job we are going to learn about next.

Miss Hoskin's English group had a fantastic time on their autumn walk. They collected leaves, conkers and flowers ready to write their autumn poem!

Year 2 had a fantastic time in geography using compass directions to find features in the playground. They then played a game of 'compass corners' where they chose a compass point and then found out if they were still in the game when a compass point was called!

Y5 investigated water resistance. They experimented changing the shape of plastercine to make it move faster through the water. The results showed that the greater the surface area the greater the water resistance.

Y4 have arrived safely on their residential trip. We wish them luck in their adventures at Robin Wood and can't wait to hear all about it on Wednesday when they return.
