Merit doesn’t need a bureaucratic manual - great teams form when you optimize for talent, not checkboxes. So, not having a DEI policy is the best DEI policy.

Elon Musk made everyone want to be a founder. Sam Altman is making everyone want to be a venture capitalist. The first trillionaire will make everyone want to be a scientist.

In 10 years, we’ll look back at 2024 and realize that “work-life balance” was just a clever way to keep average people from competing with the obsessed.

building aircraft that can land in a parking lot. backed by Deepinder Goyal. at LAT Aerospace we’re hiring engineers to work on stupidly hard & insanely cool stuff — hybrid propulsion, aero, battery systems. shoot us a note: [email protected]

BluSmart genuinely seemed like that one startup no one hated. Passengers were chill, drivers were finally respected, and the founders? Happy—for their own… unique reasons lol. If everyone looks happy in a business, you’re probably missing a chapter.

At this point I’m convinced that finding great aerospace engineers is 10x harder than building the damn thing. Nobody uses/updates their LinkedIn. If you know someone who’s actually cracked, tell them to hit me up or tag them. We’re building crazy stuff LAT Aerospace.

“Follow your passion” is bad advice. I didn’t grow up dreaming about aerospace or have an engineering degree. But at LAT Aerospace, I went down the rabbit hole, got super obsessed with planes, and the passion has come after. I’ll be sharing my obsessions and learnings here.

I was reading about Lockheed in WWII — they built the P-80 jet in just 143 days. The urgency forced them to do what was thought impossible. No time for debates or perfect plans. It makes me think: if pressure expands possibility, how do we create that urgency in everyday work?

50 years ago, Concorde flew people from LHR to JFK in 3 hours. Today, the same trip takes 8. Our grandparents saw humanity go from no phones to the moon in one lifetime. The paradox of our age is that technology accelerates, but society drags the future down to its own pace.
