Some interesting talks today at the Royal Society of Chemistry London and South East Regional Meeting! Highlights for me were from Bull Group Chemistry and Schofield Group. A great afternoon with @Fahima_Chem M Bhebhe Dana Klug

Wondering if there are is anyone that can work with us in trying to determine the MoA of Open Source Malaria S3 lead compound. Recent results suggest that PfCA is a potential target. It would be great if we could get a crystal structure of OSM-S-106 bound to PfCA

No OSantibiotics meeting tomorrow as it's a UCL holiday, but we're working on open action items from last week's meeting, found here: tinyurl.com/OSA-21Aug Next meeting Sept. 4. Chris Swain @mfernflower Álvaro Lorente Macías #AntibioticResistance #AMR #MRSA #openscience #drugdiscovery

NEW PUBLICATION! pubs.acs.org/doi/pdf/10.102… Carbon-Sulfur cross coupling from thiols or disulfides by ball-milling. No need for inert atmosphere or (dry) solvent! First time for me being first author published in #OL J Org Chem/Org Lett with Will Nicholson Harry Smallman and Duncan Browne

Looking forward to being part of today’s PharmAlliance E-symposium and presenting some of my work in The Browne Research Group! Duncan Browne UCL School of Pharmacy

Great to see that Harry, Jamie, and Tom's review with Steve Ley ITC Ley Group on reactive ketene intermediates in continuous flow is now online at Tetrahedron! 👀🍾 #flowchem #flow Harry Smallman @JamieLeitch165 Duncan Browne bit.ly/3wS8nBW

Wonderful to see Jamie and Harry's work on the Synthesis of 4CzIPN-type fluorophores using mechanochemistry is now online at J Org Chem/Org Lett, part of the enabling tech special issue No need for NaH or NaHMDS, or inert atmospheres #mechanochem 🦾 bit.ly/3i6KpwB

WOAH look at this cool new paper by Harry Smallman and #Gui on acylketene formation in flow by nitrogen extrusion 🍾🍾🥁🥁 #flowchem #SaySomethingNiceHarryIsEmotionallyFragile Julio Pastre Duncan Browne pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

The group had a lovely time at the #Mechanochemistry Faraday Discussions in Cambridge this week - Royal Society of Chemistry with Matt, Rob, and Sarah all presenting their work on at the poster sessions

Exciting new review on the challenges arising from continuous flow olefin metathesis with our friends OMC ENSCR group! Congrats to Harry Smallman, Antonio Del Vecchio and Jennifer Morvan doi.org/10.1002/anie.2…
