I applied for an aviation job a few years ago. Although unsuccessful, I still have the interview invite email, and the same link STILL allows me to book any upcoming interview at any of their sites in the UK. I've not actually tried it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it worked.

Some technology like Bluetooth has been standardised across so many devices (phones, speakers, cars, file transfer etc.)

Yet cables are the opposite. I've had USB-C phones since 2018, and 6 years later we still have planes, trains, old devices, most iPhones etc. still without!!

The amazing thing about these places in the US is that you cannot walk between any of them. I stayed in a hotel on one of these developments and there was a restaurant next door that I could not walk to, and had to drive 10 minutes around a big loop. It is incredible.

'Tic Tac Toe' and 'Noughts and Crosses' as the US and UK versions of the game feel like they should be the other way round.

It's usually the American version of words that's incredibly literal and needs to explain what things are
