A couple of nice shots from the time I was at home today. It was a lovely day for easy sailing and there was steady traffic up and down, right to dark. And then there was #Sammy Blue Jay still moulting a bit, coming into the feeder in style. #Naturephotography

Today a female Rose-breasted #grosbeak flying right towards me and the camera, and last year on this date, an #Osprey takes off from a tree out front, no doubt spotting a fish.#NaturePhotography

Lots of deer. Yesterday at 6:40 pm a young buck tripped the camera. Then today at 4:56 he showed up again. I did hear the phone alert me for the next one, today at 7:03 this evening, grabbed the camera and got this one shot through the window and the deck railings. Such fun.

These are long-range captures by the trail cam so not sharp. The first image might be the doe taking off like she just heard a grizzly coming up the trail. Next is the larger of the two bucks just coming into the frame. This happened this morning around 5:20 am. Had to smile.

At 4:25 this afternoon on my property this beautiful buck showed up and posed for this shot. For a period of time he was usually with another buck, but I have not seen the one with the slightly smaller antlers. #Deer #NaturePhotography

Met this snail while walking this morning. It's a Cepaea hortensis, not native either. Next came this sailboat called #Gunsmoke adding some welcome colour to the river. Then the sun came out, until this storm came down the river. I'm sure it caught a lot of people by surprize.

As I came up the highway this afternoon around 3pm, I noticed an amazing billowing, white cumulous cloud system coming downriver. I hurried to get home, but on getting there what I saw was now over me. Still impressive but.....#clouds #NaturePhotography

Yes, this stopped me in my tracks too. I have only photographed one before and that was down at the river's edge. I guess because it is not a native snail, we don't often see them.

Today at 6:45 am, as I was doing a few stretches, I looked out the window and saw the Buck buddies were back, and only about 30 ft away. Grabbed the camera, got a couple shots through the window, then opened the deck door, and while talking quietly, I got these pics. #Deer #Bucks
