trying out a new twitter client, harpy, and so far my first impression is that it is BEAUTIFUL. Also, I am loving that its built in #flutter. I think this a perfect usecase!

currently i'm giving the harpy a try, it's an early access app for twitter.. and omg. the app is so beautiful and look at how great the photos are displayed!! aaaand you can apply filters for gifs for example when browsing a profile!! 😱💙

didn't think you could make a Twitter client in flutter.. bye some genius actually made it.. and it's actually very cool and has kept it open source! I will try to contribute to it! btw the app is harpy for Twitter! harpy 💖

There are currently authentication issues with Twitter in harpy, sorry for the inconvenience! We are working on it

A new update (0.8.4+1) is live that should allow you to authenticate with Twitter once again. Thanks for the patience!

With Twitter's decision to ban 3rd party Twitter apps, development for harpy has come to an end. Thanks so much to everyone for being a part of this community. It's sad to see it end in this way. Read more: github.com/robertodoering…

Without free access to the Twitter api, harpy will stop working on February 9th. This includes access using a (free) custom api key. Thanks for using harpy. A spiritual successor to harpy in form of a mastodon app or other social media might come in the future. Stay tuned!
