I’m a solo dev for some stuff at work and I feel extremely productive by: >walking the app in the morning >spotting a bug >ask clanker to log it via gh cli >repeat until I have 5-8 issues >let clanker solve them all afternoon

me every morning convincing myself I’m absolutely right

been struggling for some time with data scientists ignoring cicd rules, usually leaving me or an ml eng to migrate their jupyter notebooks into something compliant. I’m convinced this is the way: clanker code a linter, and let an agent take care of the cleanup.

I do wonder why do I have this hate of the term genAI? It’s completely irrational, yet I always cringe when someone uses the term.

in hindsight it’s kinda obvious macroecon should be micro fundamented. you work for your boss’s preferences, he works for his boss’s preferences, and so on. kinda weird that ends up producing good business outcomes, but well it does.

update: 1. interact with LLMs, a lot, daily. for code, for chat, personal, work, become the LLM 2. build tools (mostly CLIs) that makes my job easier with such LLMs 3. demo such tools as loud as I can 4. make pretty slide deck for execs (costs + benefit - hype) 5. ??? 6. profit
