My take on Ic-7300 MK2. for my use case - I don’t find the additional feature sets worth upgrading my 7300 (primarily used for portable operations or at times as a secondary radio in the shack) 1) HDMI out - I have no reason to blow the radio display on to a larger screen.

IC-7300 MK2 is at least 9 months away! (Dayton Hamfest?) so, relax!

updates! sold my 7300 to a new ham, not buying 7300mk2, not upgrading my iPhone 15 to 17. I might get AirPods Pro 3. Work life is so busy, no radio time 😑

As Icom prepares the IC-7300 MK2, an IC-9700 MK2 refresh feels increasingly plausible. IC-9700 MK2 would be a logical next step. It already got LAN server - but it ca still get few other upgrades to catchup with the latest developments.
