Even though I don’t yet have an office, Harlow & the villages can’t wait for the representation they voted for. Starting as I mean to go on, I have written to the relevant Secretaries of State so we can start work on the new hospital in Harlow & more police on our streets.

Attended my second Nazeing Parish Council meeting and first as Member of Parliament. Determined to represent all parts of the constituency all year round!

A lovely afternoon spent at two incredible events in our community. First stop was a great Roydon Summer Fete - although gutted I missed the dog show! 🐶 Then got to stop by the Sunset Sessions Festival at Harlow Town Park - always a pleasure!

A real pleasure to attend Upwards with Downs Fun Day at the Link and chat with them about the wonderful work they do. Also caught up with our local District Scout leader Matt Brace to talk about what is going on over the next few months. #ServingHarlow

Taxi drivers and passengers deserve better than the current, deregulated system. Licensing should be in the hands of local authorities. I raised this in the UK House of Commons today, I will continue to do so on your behalf until the current situation changes. #ServingHarlow

Went into parliament today to take part in the crucial discussion on the Covid Inquiry which affected so many lives in Harlow Whilst honouring the loss of my close friend Cllr Frances Mason, I also paid tribute to the staff at Princess Alexandra The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust #ServingHarlow

Busy Saturday in Harlow! 🏳️‍🌈It was great to support the Harlow Pride stall at The Harvey Centre 🚒Also managed to visit the open day at the Fire Station ⚽️ Finally I visited the Akugbe Brothers Club’s first sport day with Cllr James Griggs - I even got to play a game of football!

Great to get over to the Butterfly Effect community fun day at Harlow Rugby Club club today! Ours is truly an incredible community - events like this show that. I even managed to hook a duck at the Tommy Jones Project stall 🎣 #ServingHarlow

🚂 Delighted to meet with Transport Secretary Louise Haigh and support Labour's Bill to bring our railways back into public ownership. 📚 It was also a pleasure to meet with Bridget Phillipson to discuss an issue close to my heart, SEND provision in schools. #ServingHarlow

Today Wes Streeting MP was in Harlow talking to health care providers from across the region. I sat down with him to talk about the desperate need for a new hospital in Harlow. We talked about how we can work to ensure the best health outcomes for our residents. #ServingHarlow

The gas leak has now been dealt with in Harlow, with cordons being removed. My thanks to the emergency services and Harlow Council for their efforts. If any constituents have any remaining concerns, please reach out to my office so I can assist.

It was really great to visit Roydon Parish Council last night and sit in on their meeting. An open opportunity for many local residents to voice their concerns and opinions about issues affecting Roydon. Lots for me to work on!

Today I have written to the leader of Essex County Council with concerns about delays to issuing blue badges. A number of residents have contacted me about this issue and the impact that it is having on them.
