Walsall have started on the front foot looking to use their physicality and put pressure on the Salford back three.

The game has fallen into a lull last ten minutes. Walsall are trying to keep hold of the ball and be proactive with it more than they did on Tuesday.

Walsall the better team all over the pitch in the first half, Salford struggling with the press and physicality. Can’t help but feel this game is crying out for Kanu in the second half his pace in attack could really hurt Salford’s backline.

The game needed livening up from a Saddlers perspective, a proactive triple change should bring back the intensity from the first half.

The Saddlers should have this game put to bed already Kanu and Pressley with great chances. A little more composure is needed from the front men.
