Small personal piece in the middle of the Ravnica art marathon - a bit of a distraction while dealing with the plague some days ago 🥲

I'm back from my winter social media break :) It gave me time to work on this personal piece, which counts as a self-portrait... Partly because drinking tea with a blanket on my legs, watching the cold rain outside was my winter mood, but mostly because I'm actually a robot.

Two of my paintings have been selected for inclusion in IBA12! This is one of them, Grave to Cradle, a reworked version of a commission piece I painted a few years ago. That painting has a very personal meaning and story, so it's great to see that other people resonate with it.

And here's my second painting that made it into IBA! "Imaginary", inspired by Evanescence's song of the same name. My tribute to teenage escapism :) featuring cotton candy clouds, waves of flowers, and a pink iPod. The pink iPod is crucial.

Fanart of Carmen! Best opera ever <3 I was helped by kind people with an impressive knowledge of early 19th Century Spanish Dragoons... so I can proudly say that their uniforms are a lot more period-accurate than in your average representation. Her dress very much isn't, though!
